Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Crosby

The West Fork Gators will challenge the Crosby Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Fork is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Pasadena a 9-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what West Fork needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Crosby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Pasadena 9-0 on Wednesday. Crosby might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Crosby is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four contests. As for West Fork, their win bumped their record up to 7-10-1.

West Fork might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Crosby when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
