Basketball Game Preview: Portersville Christian vs. Saint Thomas More Academy Griffins

Portersville Christian will take on the Saint Thomas More Academy Griffins in a tournament on Saturday. Portersville Christian has given up an average of 67.3 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Back in February, Portersville Christian had to suffer through a 100-50 loss at the hands of Clairton. Portersville Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Saint Thomas More Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Westside Christian Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 63-61.

Portersville Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Saint Thomas More Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
