Volleyball Recap: Waller Comes Up Short

Waller dropped down to 18-6 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Klein Cain Hurricanes by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hurricanes earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

As for Klein Cain, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The game was the first time they have beaten Waller on their court since August 21, 2021.

Klein Cain can attribute much of their success to Morgan Thompson, who had 20 digs. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Coming up, Waller will welcome A&M Consolidated at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Klein Cain, they will be taking part in a tournament against London at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
