Baseball Recap: DeWitt Gets the Win

DeWitt owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against the Christian Eagles by a score of 5-0. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 12-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

DeWitt is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-3.

DeWitt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-4 defeat against Haslett on the 9th. As for Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against Forest Hills Eastern on the 11th.
