Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lynx vs. Ingraham Rams

After both having extra time off, the Lincoln Lynx and the Ingraham Rams will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lincoln is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since January 17th last Monday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Shorewood an easy 70-45 victory. While losing is never fun, the Lynx can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Stormrays are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, Ingraham ended up a good deal behind Archbishop Murphy last Saturday and lost 68-50.

Lincoln has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Ingraham, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
