It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bartlett had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Goldthwaite Eagles 12-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Bartlett, bringing their record up to 16-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Goldthwaite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Coming up, Bartlett will challenge Milano on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Goldthwaite does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
