Basketball Game Preview: West Catholic Falcons vs. Thornapple Kellogg Trojans

The West Catholic Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Catholic has given up an average of 52.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, West Catholic came up short against South Christian and fell 62-55. The Falcons have struggled against the Sailors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Thornapple Kellogg played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 86-39 loss at the hands of Northview. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Thornapple Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

West Catholic couldn't quite get it done against Thornapple Kellogg in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 as they fell 65-53. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
