Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Academy Jaguars vs. Mentor Cardinals

The St. Joseph Academy Jaguars will square off against the Mentor Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

St. Joseph Academy came up short against Magnificat on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

Milani Marrero put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had five digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Mentor had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Raiders.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mentor took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-7.

St. Joseph Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Mentor, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
