It was a good run, but Mars Hill Bible unfortunately witnessed the end of their 30-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 74-56 bruising from the Austin Black Bears. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Mars Hill Bible's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1. As for Austin, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mars Hill Bible will be home for the holidays to greet Sheffield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mae Jemison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Austin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Mae Jemison likes a good challenge.
