            Baseball Recap: Valliant Bulldogs vs. Washington Warriors

The Bulldogs took  a  7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.
  Ty Whitby made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Auzy Trapp, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Valliant's loss dropped their record down to 22-17. As for Washington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record  this season.
