Despite the defeat, Master's Academy had strong showings from Carissa Hennessey, who scored 6 points along with 13 rebounds and 6 steals, and Neesah Valentine, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds. Hennessey scored a full 42.9% of Master's Academy's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
John Carroll Catholic now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
