Gibbs has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 11. They and the Countryside Cougars finished up their match with a 2-2 draw on Monday. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Gladiators got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Darren Moss was the only thing that stood between Gibbs and a shutout considering he scored both of Gibbs' goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

With that draw, Gibbs' record moves to 2-7-4. Meanwhile, Countryside's record is now 1-5-3.

Gibbs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Dunedin on the 16th. As for Countryside, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Largo on the 14th.
