Soccer Game Preview: New Kent vs. Tabb

New Kent is 1-9 against Tabb since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trojans will head out to challenge the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for New Kent's offense. They fell just short of York by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that New Kent have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Tabb also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Jamestown on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Tabb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Jamestown are ranked fifth).

Tabb now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for New Kent, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3-2.
