Basketball Recap: Shields Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Shields took on Wilcox Central on Saturday. The Shields Panthers lost 62-40 to the Wilcox Central Jaguars. The Panthers have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Shields' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wilcox Central, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
