Rivercrest has gone 9-1 against Bowie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rivercrest Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Bowie Pirates at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rivercrest lost to Harts Bluff at home by a 43-27 margin.

Meanwhile, Bowie entered their tilt with Harts Bluff on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 52-23 win over the Bulldogs. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Bowie pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.2 points per game. As for Rivercrest, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-14.

Rivercrest beat Bowie 34-24 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rivercrest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
