Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lake City Timberwolves, falling 18-2.

Riverside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Cotner, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against West Valley on the 21st. As for Lake City, they have also already played their next game, a 13-2 win against Liberty Christian on the 21st.
