Soccer Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Salem faced off against Richland County on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Salem just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Riley Killian and Jordan Kessler scored both of Salem's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Richland County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Salem wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Mt. Carmel on the 21st. Richland County has also already played their next contest (against Mt. Vernon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
