Prairie View Academy dropped their record down to 9-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins. They fell 12-9 to the Lamar Christian Lions. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

As for Lamar Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.

For Lamar Christian's part, DJ Parhm and Waylon Parker did most of the damage at the plate: Parhm got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Parker went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Parker has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson McCrory, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

As of now, neither Prairie View Academy nor Lamar Christian have any future games scheduled.
