Basketball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

Waverly lost against Chase County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Waverly fell 44-33 to Chase County. Waverly just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.

Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-2. As for Chase County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7-2 record this season.

Coming up, Waverly will face off against Lyndon on Tuesday. Waverly is facing Lyndon at the right time seeing as Lyndon is stuck on a five-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Madison will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Chase County surely won't give up without a fight.
