Baseball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Eastbrook Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Eastbrook, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Adams Central will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Winchester Community at 5:45 p.m. The Jets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Eastbrook, they will take on Blackford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
