Baseball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

Triton lost against Terry Sanford on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Triton took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Terry Sanford. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chase Sewell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Triton and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Terry Sanford, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Triton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Scotland on the 24th. As for Terry Sanford, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 win against Harnett Central on the 25th.
