There's no place like home for Lake View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carvers Bay Bears a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Wild Gators have won eight games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake View's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Carvers Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake View will venture away from home to challenge Hannah-Pamplico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carvers Bay, they will head out to take on Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
