Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Roaring Fork Rams

The Eagle Valley Devils will venture away from home to take on the Roaring Fork Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Roaring Fork will be up against a hot Eagle Valley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Eagle Valley blew past Battle Mountain 87-48 on Thursday. Given the Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Huskies are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Roaring Fork had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bruins as they made off with a 65-39 win.

Eagle Valley's record now sits at 16-6. As for Roaring Fork, their record is now 15-5.

Eagle Valley suffered a grim 47-25 defeat to Roaring Fork in their previous matchup back in December of 2015. Can Eagle Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
