Baseball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Greeneview's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Greeneview let Madison Plains stack seven runs on them in the fourth inning on Saturday but luckily Greeneview prevailed anyway. The Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Eagles, sneaking past 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted against the Golden Eagles since May 4, 2022.

The team relied heavily on Trevor Moore, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lucas Reynolds, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Greeneview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Greeneview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Madison Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
