Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Centerville Elks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Centerville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Wayne has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Middletown on the 30th. As for Centerville, they will venture away from home to take on Northmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
