Ian Colon turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Gateway is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.

We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Colon had to take a loss the last time Gateway and Heritage duked it out, losing their matchup last Monday 11-1.
