Baseball Recap: Blackman Takes a Loss

If Blackman was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of LaVergne last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blaze fell just short of the Riverdale Warriors by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Blaze haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Blackman's loss dropped their record down to 22-15. As for Riverdale, their record now sits at 22-14.

Blackman has already played their next contest (against Smyrna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Riverdale, they will be taking part in a tournament against Siegel at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Stars will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
