Basketball Game Preview: McKeel Academy Wildcats vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts + How To Watch

The McKeel Academy Wildcats will challenge the Lakeland Dreadnaughts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. McKeel Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Lakeland likes a good challenge.

McKeel Academy lost 81-60 to Auburndale on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Lakeland had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 48-38 win over George Jenkins on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

McKeel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

McKeel Academy was taken down by Lakeland 86-45 in their previous meeting back in December of 2015. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 41-19.
