Volleyball Recap: Carter-Riverside Takes a Loss

Carter-Riverside's tournament run continued when they took on Tioga on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Tioga found their leader in freshman Maddy Schon, who had 11 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Schon.

Carter-Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Tioga, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3-2.

Coming up, Carter-Riverside will challenge Western Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tioga, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Southwest on the 23rd.
