Football Game Preview: Alleman Pioneers vs. Sterling Golden Warriors + How To Watch

Alleman is 0-7 against Sterling since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Pioneers will head out to square off against the Golden Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Alleman has given up an average of 39.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Alleman's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Rock Island on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of the Rocks.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Sterling over Galesburg in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Golden Warriors blew the Silver Streaks out of the water with a 48-0 final score. That looming 48-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Warriors yet this season.

The win made it two in a row for Sterling and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.5 points over those games. As for Alleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Alleman took a serious blow against Sterling when the teams last played back in September of 2022, falling 69-0. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
