Baseball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

If Wayne was feeling good fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Wewoka on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wynnewood Savages on Tuesday, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Savages this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Wynnewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Wayne will challenge Sasakwa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wynnewood, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Pauls Valley on the 16th.
