Basketball Game Preview: St. John Tigers vs. Inman Inman Teutons

The St. John Tigers will square off against the Inman Inman Teutons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season.

St. John is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Ellinwood just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 63-44 bruising from the Eagles.

Despite the loss, St. John saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emmett Delp posted 18 points. Delp's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braxton Alpers, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, Inman ended up a good deal behind Marion on Friday and lost 58-43. The Inman Teutons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Inman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. John, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.
