Basketball Recap: American Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against North last Tuesday, American Leadership Academy came back down to earth. The American Leadership Academy Patriots took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eau Claire Shamrocks.

When it comes to explaining why American Leadership Academy lost on Friday, don't look at Bryce Newton. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Cantor, who earned seven points.

American Leadership Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Eau Claire, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eau Claire beat American Leadership Academy by a score of 48-38 on Tuesday.
