Volleyball Recap: Robinson Starts off Right with Win over North Clay

Robinson had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Clay Cardinals, sneaking past 2-1. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Robinson who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 16-25, 25-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robinson will face off against South Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Clay, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
