Soccer Game Preview: New Brockton vs. Geneva

The New Brockton Gamecocks will challenge the Geneva Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

New Brockton came up short against Tallassee on Friday, falling 5-1. The Gamecocks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Meanwhile, Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to Pike County.

This is the second loss in a row for New Brockton and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

New Brockton skirted past Geneva 4-3 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will New Brockton repeat their success, or does Geneva have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
