Soccer Recap: Blake Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Blake barely beat Southwest Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Stars on Friday. Blake might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Blake's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Southwest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1.

Blake has already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Holy Family Catholic on the 27th. As for Southwest Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest Christian are facing Providence Academy at the right time seeing as Providence Academy are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
