Basketball Game Preview: Trent Gorillas vs. Westbrook Wildcats

Trent hasn't had much luck against Westbrook recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trent Gorillas will be home for the holidays to greet the Westbrook Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. Trent will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Trent saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 48-40 win over Paint Creek.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westbrook). They blew past Aspermont, posting a 67-38 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since February 23rd.

Westbrook pushed their record up to 4-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.3 points. As for Trent, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Trent was dealt a bruising 91-16 loss at the hands of Westbrook in their previous meeting back in February. Thankfully for Trent, Ethan King (who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
