Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hundred). Everything went their way against the Paden City Wildcats on Monday as the Hundred Hornets made off with a 75-50 victory. With the Hornets ahead 38-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Hundred was led to victory by Brayden Bartrug and Colt Sandy. Bartrug dropped a double-double on 27 points and 16 boards, while Sandy dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bartrug a new career-high in points. Jaxon Huggins was another key player, putting up 13 points and five boards.

Hundred smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

Hundred's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Paden City, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hundred has already played their next matchup, an 82-68 defeat against Valley on the 5th. As for Paden City, they will welcome Richwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
