Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Hollywood). They breezed by the Chavez Eagles to the tune of 80-30 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Chase Guillory went supernova for North Hollywood, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Guillory a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Declan Hirota, who went 6 for 10 en route to 13 points.

North Hollywood was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

North Hollywood's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Chavez, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Verdugo Hills the next time they take the court. North Hollywood will host Verdugo Hills at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Chavez will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
