Basketball Recap: Barbour County Takes a Loss

Barbour County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Carroll Eagles and fell 72-44. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Eagles are ranked 93rd).

Barbour County's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carroll beat Barbour County by a score of 72-44 on Tuesday.
