Football Recap: Fowler Starts Season with Victory Against Hanford West + How To Watch

Fowler gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They never let the Hanford West Huskies get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. The Redcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Fowler's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Michel III, who rushed for 69 yards and one score.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Fowler's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Connor Hammond with 2.5.

Fowler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-0 defeat against Firebaugh on the 29th. As for Hanford West, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-0 loss against Corcoran on the 29th.
