Volleyball Recap: Northwest Gets the Win

The Northwest Lions earned a 2-0 victory over the Clearwater Fightin' Tigers on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northwest was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 10-12-5. As for Clearwater, they dropped their record down to 3-22 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Northwest and Clearwater will both be playing Scott City the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Fightin' Tigers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
