Volleyball Recap: Ripon Christian Falls Short of Christian Brothers in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ripon Christian can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Christian Brothers Falcons on Tuesday.

Ripon Christian's offense was headlined by Paige Van Hofwegen and Brynn Bohn, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Alanna Blanco and her 45 assists. Bohn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Morgan Schenk, each putting up two.

Isabella Alvarez had an outrageously good game for Christian Brothers as she had 20 digs and two assists. Alvarez has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Paolo Trujillo was another key player, getting 19 assists and five digs.

Ripon Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Christian Brothers, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

Ripon Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against West Valley on the 13th. As for Christian Brothers, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Ripon on the 8th.
