After losing to Salina Central the last time they met, Newton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Railroaders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Railroaders.

Newton's win bumped their record up to 4-13-1. As for Salina Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Newton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Andover Central on the 23rd. As for Salina Central, they will square off against Arkansas City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
