Volleyball Recap: Wylie Makes It 11 in a Row on the Road

Wylie won the last time they faced Lakeview Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The Pirates not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-20.

Leading Wylie to victory were Berkeley Weidinger and Olivia Royal. Weidinger had 14 assists and two aces, while Royal had nine assists and five digs. That's the most aces Weidinger has posted over her last nine contests.

Wylie's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-9. As for Lakeview Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
