Elmira came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  an  8-1 margin over the Sisters Outlaws. Considering the Falcons have won eight contests by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Morgan Hansen was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Shiloh Jackson, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Elmira pushed their record up to 13-6 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Sisters, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record  this season.
