Ash Fork wins going away against Fredonia

The Ash Fork Spartans had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Fredonia with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-24. Ash Fork's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Ash Fork found their leader in underclassman Jesus Ayala, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Parnell Tsosie was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.

Ash Fork now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fredonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Ash Fork is on the road again on Friday and play against Ray at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st. Ray's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Ash Fork's offense will have their work cut out for Ash Fork. As for Fredonia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Escalante at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Escalante presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fredonia in their respective states (Escalante is ranked 34th in Utah, while Fredonia is ranked 167th in Arizona).
