There's no place like home for R.A. Long, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Ridgefield Spudders on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Lumberjacks: when they faced off against the Spudders on Monday, they had to take a 5-2 defeat.

R.A. Long is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgefield, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.
