Basketball Recap: Hogan Prep Charter Comes Up Short

Hogan Prep Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lafayette Fighting Irish, falling 52-24. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 93rd).

Hogan Prep Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lafayette, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Hogan Prep Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-40 defeat against Summit Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Lafayette, they will look to defend their home court on January 31st against Atchison at 7:30 p.m.
