Basketball Recap: Strawberry Crest Drops Highest Score of Season Against Middleton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strawberry Crest). They put the hurt on the Middleton Tigers with a sharp 89-69 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Chargers have posted since December 11, 2024.

Leading Strawberry Crest to victory were Cameron Crowe and Hunter Hall. Crowe went 13 of 22 en route to 32 points and seven steals, while Hall dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten steals. That's the most steals Crowe has posted since back in November of 2023. Braden Flanders also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Middleton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sherrick Oliver, who posted 22 points, and Darrion Marchman, who put up 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Smith, who earned eight points.

Strawberry Crest's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Middleton, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Strawberry Crest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-52 win against Alonso on the 15th. Middleton has also already played their next game, a 67-56 victory against Brandon on the 15th.
